Sponsorship Policy
LMC Services Yorkshire CIC (the company) is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring that all external partnerships align with our core values of health and integrity.
1. Ethical Standards for Sponsorship
The company maintains strict criteria for selecting partners and sponsors to ensure that our activities remain in the best interest of our members and the community:
- Product Alignment: Sponsorship will not be accepted from organisations whose products or services are deemed detrimental to health or unethical.
- Industry Compliance: Any pharmaceutical company providing sponsorship is expected to comply fully with the ABPI Code of Practice. The company will assist with any specific requests or administrative requirements to ensure this compliance is upheld.
2. Fairness and Diversity
To ensure impartiality and avoid exclusive influence by a single entity, the company adheres to the following principles:
- Multi-Sponsor Events: More than one organisation will be involved at each event to maintain fairness and a balanced perspective.
- Conflict of Interest: We ensure that no single sponsor is given undue prominence that could compromise the integrity of the organisation’s mission.
3. Financial Contributions and Transparency
Sponsorship arrangements are managed with full transparency regarding costs and expectations:
- Cost Notification: All sponsoring organisations will be notified of the projected costs the company is likely to incur for hosting an event.
- Contribution Requests: Where appropriate, the company will request a suitable contribution from each sponsor.
- Collaborative Support: In certain instances, sponsor organisations may be asked to discuss amongst themselves to determine a suitable collective contribution for an event.
