Conflict Resolution Toolkit (Clinicians)

Suitable for:
GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists and other clinical health professionals

Course overview:

The conlfict resolution toolkit session aims to provide members of the practice team with a simple framework to help individuals to analyse and resolve conflicts at work. This will allow colleagues to focus on areas of dissatisfaction in work and professional life and the possibilities that might exist for change. The tool can be used on ourselves but is best when worked through with a trusted colleague.

The toolkit is intended to provide some clarity and direction when we need some help to work out a solution. It allows consideration of what response is appropriate, and the consequences of each response. It is built on the evidence base around solution-focused coaching (Jackson 2020)

Course format:

The course will be run via zoom – a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event. We provide interactive sessions with between 3 and 12 delegates allowing opportunity for small group discussions. Please therefore ensure you can log in using your own device (rather than sharing devices with colleagues) with sound and video.

Cost:

The course is fully funded however we do request a £10 donation per delegate to the Cameron Fund. The donation is optional – to book a place without making the online donation please contact us.

Cancellations:

If you are unable to attend please consider whether your place can be used by a colleague. Late cancellations and DNAs are costly in terms of both finance and time – if you need to cancel please let us know at least 5 days before the course date.
