Course summary:

This seminar is delivered by LMC Law who’s core business includes Healthcare and General Practice in the UK. They work for a number of Local Medical Committees (LMCs) and GPs across the country, offering down to earth, practical advice. This seminar has been designed to address the range of issues that LMC Law have dealt with over the years and to offer practical solutions in dealing with them.

Topics covered include:

  • Binding contracts,
  • Written and oral contracts
  • Historical precedents
  • Changing contract terms
  • The difference between a contract and an MOU
  • Issues for unincorporated entities
  • The Partnership Act 1890
  • Partnership deeds,
  • Contract liability and subcontracting.
  • Expressions of interest and tendering for a contract



Course format:

The course will be run via Zoom- a joining link will be shared with you a few days before the event. It will be a seminar format, but questions will be welcome. There is an attendance limit of 30 people.
